Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions
Strathcona Summit Solutions Ltd.
These terms apply to direct accommodation bookings made through our website and booking platform. Please review them, together with the property’s description, house rules, and cancellation policy, before completing your reservation.
Booking Requirements
The person making the reservation must be at least 19 years old and is responsible for providing accurate booking information and ensuring their group follows the property’s house rules and occupancy limits.
All direct bookings require a signed rental agreement and damage waiver. These documents must be available for review before booking and completed before arrival.
Payments
A payment of 50% of the total booking price is required when booking. The remaining 50% is due 30 days before arrival.
For reservations made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is due when booking.
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes and fees are shown in the booking breakdown before payment. Payments are processed through Stripe using Hostaway.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations received 30 or more days before arrival, payments collected will be refunded less a cancellation processing fee equal to 4% of the payments collected.
For cancellations received 14 to 29 days before arrival, 50% of the total booking price is refundable.
For cancellations received fewer than 14 days before arrival, no refund is provided.
Winter Conditions and Cancellations
Our standard cancellation policy applies throughout the winter season. Refunds, credits, or date changes are not provided due to snowfall, snow quality, weather conditions, limited terrain, or partial mountain operations.
If Mount Washington Alpine Resort closes all mountain operations specifically due to insufficient snow, we will consider affected reservations for a refund or credit on an individual basis. A refund or credit is not guaranteed.
If any portion of the mountain remains operational—including Nordic, beginner terrain, or limited alpine terrain—the standard cancellation policy remains in effect.
This winter conditions policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law if the booked accommodation cannot be provided.
Property Rules and Damage
Guests must comply with the property-specific rules disclosed before booking, including occupancy limits, pet restrictions, smoking rules, and restrictions on parties or events.
We do not collect a damage deposit. This does not remove a guest’s responsibility for damage they cause. Any damage claim will be handled under the agreed rental agreement and applicable law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information associated with inquiries, reservations, and stays.
Applicable Law and Consumer Rights
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and applicable Canadian laws. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any right to a refund without deductions.
Changes to these terms apply to future bookings. Existing reservations remain subject to the terms accepted when booked, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
